Running March 2 through April 29, 2011. My Budding Flora Mandalas collection combines nature, technology and my artistic eye to create a fantasy garden of artwork. Each piece is derived from freshly grown plants and flowers, which I scan directly into the computer and digitally manipulate into a fantastical, floral-themed, abstract design. In various spiritual traditions, mandalas may be used to focus the attention of practitioners, as a spiritual teaching tool, for establishing a sacred mental space, and as an aid to meditation.
