Artist's Message

I’ve gravitated towards the dreamy and imaginative since I was a young girl, spending countless hours in creative mayhem. I’m so grateful to my family for giving me the freedom to explore those impulses throughout my upbringing. Today, I continue to cultivate creativity as a route to fulfillment — as relaxation, an outlet of expression, a spiritual resource and as a bridge between the external and my internal world.

A serious introvert, I find creative work to be meditative and intuitive, allowing me first to reach deeply inside, then to reach outward by visually expressing what I have discovered. I enjoy processing the experiences of my life – emotion, sights, concepts and ideas — then synthesizing them into my own vision.

The intent behind my imagery is to tell a story of a visual impression, emotional moment or life situation. My hope is that you will identify with the essence or message of each particular piece. If any aspect of my work reaches into you, pulls at your heart, makes you think, disturbs or makes you smile, I’ll feel we’ve connected. Cool!

My creativity takes many forms, such as drawing, designing, digital painting, decorative arts and crafting to name a few. So, where my creative journey will lead me next? I’ll just open my heart, follow my intuition and see where the path leads.
